Speciel designed fabrics:
The fabrics are specially designed for this month’s block.
This year, we will be appliquéing houses and trees on nine hills with bees and butterflies.
A completely new way of making a Block of the Month at Quilt My Design.
The hills are printed on the fabric, ready to be cut out and appliquéd.
The borders are also printed on the fabric, so you don’t need to sew the fabric together in the middle.
Additionally, the corners are printed with a 45° angle, ensuring that the grainline stays straight, while the fabric pattern is diagonal, making the bees and butterflies appear to fly in circles around the quilt.

Appliqué & Embroidery:
This design uses needle-turn appliqué, but other techniques can easily be used.
The templates include both a sewing line and a seam allowance, so you have different cutting and marking options.
I use simple embroidery stitches, making it easy for anyone to join in.
All embroidery details are clearly described to ensure a smooth and enjoyable sewing experience.
